Traxen Village

The northernmost village on the south coast, Traxen sits on the edge of the Black Rhoem Sea, between Jexlen to the west and Evam Rune City to the southeast. Traxen sits in the shadow of Traxen Peak, cradled between rocky headlands, with a population of 102, including the outlying manors.

The main street runs from the beach to the crossroads, a scant quarter mile. Walking up from the harbor would find the blacksmith on the right and the tailor's shop on the left. Next is the Magistrate's office on the right and the general store on the left. Beyond that is the clinic on the right and the Singing Selkie Inn on the left. Finally, at the end of the street, is the whorehouse on the right and the slave market on the left.

Businesses

Blacksmith

Kumir is the village blacksmith and a Dracorian refugee. His grandsire was forced to flee his homeworld after civil war broke out. Kumir is a second generation Ashaelite, but is often treated like an off-worlder because he is Dracorian. He's 32 years old and stands almost six feet in man-form. His skin is black like coal, his eyes vivid blue and gold, and his hair is short and coarse, more like bristles than hair.

In drac-form, Kumir stands three feet at the shoulder and almost twelve feet from snout to tail, with a twenty foot wingspan.

Tailor

The tailor shop is run by Syddrael Tyne, a childhood friend of Rayne's. Syd, as he prefers to be called, is married to Ascille, a warm, kind woman three years younger than Syd, who is 36 as of 2063

Magistrate

General Store

The General Store doubles as a trading post and has been run by the Kerrin family for three generations. Built by Fressel Kerrin in 1995, the shop was washed away when the town was destroyed by a tidal wave in 2006. Fressel rebuilt the shop and passed it to his eldest son, Miravek, when he was forced to move to a warmer climate for health reasons in 2019. Miravek expanded the shop and turned it into a trading post. He ran the store until his death in 2059, when his youngest son, Rayne, and his lover, Belaeden, took over the running of the General Store.
